![]() I am mainly concerned that the mac mini wont like the current versions of logic and OS but any other problems that might arise I would like to know about too. ![]() This past March, I created a Fusion drive with a 120 GB SSD and the existing 1 TB SSD. ![]() I record mostly bands and use very little samples and virtual instruments. I have a late 2012 Mac i7 2.3 GHz that I upgraded to 16 GB of RAM soon after I bought it. Will that setup work? I am one of those people that once I have a stable system I am not going to do updates all the time. What I am looking at and would like to pull the trigger on is a late 2012 mac mini with a quadcore i7 maxed with 16gb of ram running OS mojave with logic pro x and motu 16a for the convertors and a UAD sattelite system. So please dont suggest going the pc route. Since, up until recently, I have been mixing down to tape so it hasnt been too big a deal to freeze tracks and pull the max I can out of this system. ![]() What I have loved about this set up is the stability of it. Running logic 8 pro and a UAD1 card with 2 motu 2408 mkii's with the 324 pci card. My current set up is a 933 G4 tower with only a 1.25gb of ram. All of you will probably laugh that I am still using it but it has for the most part worked well. So I am in desperate need of updating my rig.
